Hydros Consulting is seeking an intern to support various projects. We are a water quality and water resources engineering firm in Boulder Colorado that specializes in modeling and data analysis to help water managers make informed, sustainable decisions. Internship tasks will include providing direct support to technical leads, including compilation of modeling results, calculation of summary statistics, development of graphics and tabular summaries, etc. This is a great opportunity to build technical and communication skills, learn about environmental consulting, and make connections with local professionals.

The successful candidate will have (or be working toward) a Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering or a similar area of study. This role requires strong skills in Excel, Word, and R. Experience with environmental flow and water quality data collection, analysis, and databases is a plus, as are GIS skills. We are seeking an individual with an excellent work ethic who is highly interested in our subject areas. The position will be part time, with a start date of March 1, 2024 and a completion date of September 2024 (specific dates are negotiable). The position will require 10 to 30 hours per week, depending on work availability and the successful candidate’s availability. The internship pays $30/hr and does not have a remote option (work will be conducted at our Boulder, CO office to increase interaction and learning opportunities).
